A bottle of wine is the go to gift for parties, birthdays and casual get togethers. In Spain, wine is cheaper than water, so I decided to up the invite ante and use some dressy bottles as my invite for a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party I was hosting. These cute covers can be used to dress up a gift bottle, or as party favors as well.
To make the bustier bottle:
Choose a scrapbook paper that matches your theme, paper that's a bit thicker works best.
Measure the circumference of your bottle, and cut your paper 2 inches shorter, to leave a gap for the laces. Using a hole punch, make 5 holes along each side of the paper. Thread a coordinating ribbon through the holes and tie at the top.
Choose a scrapbook paper that goes with your theme, paper that's not too thick works best.
Measure the circumference of your bottle. and cut your paper 1/2 inch longer. Cut diagonally across the top two corners of your paper, and cut the bottom two corners to be rounded. These cuts don't have to be exact, but should be similar on both sides. Using double sided tape, secure the paper around the bottle, and draw on buttons.
You can make a tie or a bow tie to accent your formal wear.
