Water or Wine?

I have found another a great use for all those empty wine bottles (see DIY wine bottles for another use)! If you have plants in pots without drippers on them, a great way to water them is with your empty wine bottles! This saves the hassle of watering the plants everyday and is a great way to recycle all those old bottles. All you do is fill up the bottles with water and turn them over into the pot  and they will self water the plants. This is a great way to keep those plants hydrated while you are away (or lazy)!

Travel sized

Traveling so much I pick up tons of super cute mini shampoos, lotions, conditioners, etc. I always HAVE to take them with me when I check out- but then ended up storing them in drawers and never using them. Until I came up with a creative and cute way to store them, and have them always available for my guests!

Make up your make up brushes!

A great way to keep your makeup brushes is out in the open on your bathroom counter! No more messy drawers searching for the liquid eyeliner brush- get your brushes out where you can see them!

Watch out

Looking for a way to change up your watch band? I saw this super cute idea at a craft fair, and decided to copy it with my own tired watch strap. It's simple and doesn't take much time, not to mention the materials needed (safety pins and beads) can be easily purchased for under $5.

You'd never know how simple this is to put together!

Napkin Holder Catch-All

Now I never claimed to be crafty (I will leave that to my fellow blogget) but I have been known to put some everyday items to use in different and unusual ways that work for a room in my home. My latest use has been to convert a wicker napkin holder in to a catch-all for my loving (and somewhat messy) hubby.

OCD free- finally the mess is organized!

DIY Wine Bottles Repurposed

With the amount of wine we drink out here in Spain reaching an all time high in summer (see my recipe for Tinto de Verrano here) it seems a shame to throw all of the gorgeous bottles into recycling. Instead, I've got a few DIY projects that can put your old wine bottles to good (and pretty) use!
