The beautiful bride and groom!
Their wedding had a country feel to it with beautiful purple centerpieces set up in vintage water pitchers and different floral napkins at each place setting. It was truly inspiring
The whole thing looked divine but the reason I am posting about it today is one very specific item of decor that took me completely by surprise: tea cups!
The cups were such an unexpected and pretty touch for an already dainty wedding reception. The idea of using vintage tea cups to spruce up a party blew my mind, so I went on a quest to find out how I can use this inspiration to add vintage flair to my next dinner party.
I came across a few ways of using tea cups in unexpected ways:
- As a centerpiece- of course Martha Stewart has already investigated the tea cup possibility.. how silly of me.
- As a candle
- As a planter
- As a place card holder
I love tea cups for dinner parties or even general home decor. Anyone out there have an unexpected way to incorporate tea cups into your party's decor? Leave us a comment!
Love the ideas on here, I am getting married in August so keep the inspiration coming! Going to steal this and drink stirrers! Do you use pinterest?
