What used to be considered cruel and unusual punishment is now one of the hottest trends, and no, I am not talking about Sheriff Joe's tent city, but the other part of prison, stripes!! I have always been a fan of this print since fruit striped gum (love that zebra!), but I am glad it's caught on.

Stripes are great because they can be big, bold, and fun, or understated and somewhat demure. I am a fan of the nautical looking red and blue stripes that have recently been trending. There is nothing better then wearing some nautical stripes to create that feeling as if you are about the embark on a fabulous cruise adventure! Or you can go bright and have fun with different colored stripes! Either way, stripes are a must have for any wardrobe.
